ErgoFocus – Quick Assessment Tool
Because Ergonomics can feel like the “elephant in the room,”- everyone knows it there, but many don’t know how to even begin addressing it- ErgoFactor created ErgoFocus. A simple yet easy to apply relative risk rating tool to help understand where the risk exists in your environment. ErgoFocus supports an entry level ergonomic program for sites that are interested in starting a uniform ergonomic program that will engage multiple levels within the organization. The assessments take one hour or less, are simple to apply and understand, and training is completed within 3 hours through online based modules. If desired, this training can be in person as well!
ErgoFocus lays the solid foundation needed to launch any ergonomic program. While simple and easy to apply, RESULTS are still noted through determining which ergonomic issues to focus on first.

When you are unclear of whether or not an employee was truly injured completing the tasks of the job, ErgoFactor will assess the tasks of the job and determine if the risk that is present is associated with the actual diagnosis. Be careful, we call ‘em how we see ‘em. This might mean that we will confirm the employee’s alleged injury, but in 90% of the cases the opposite holds true - we find minimal if any risk factors for causation associated with the diagnosis.
In this instance, ErgoFactor has been extremely successful in either lowering work comp costs or reducing the settlement cost greatly.
